I have been a nurse for more than 3 decades. I have been humbled by the people I have cared for and the incredible people with whom I have worked. Most of my experience has been as an oncology nurse. I spent 20 years in the hospital setting, then transitioned to home care and hospice before going back to school to become a Nurse Practitioner. I have now been a Geriatric NP for 12 years and have recently returned to my passion, caring for the seriously ill and dying. I have walked with hundreds of people, young and old in their final journey and have been blessed in more ways than can ever be counted by the lessons I have learned from these experiences, the most important of which has been a unique perspective and outlook on my own life. I thank God for leading me to this incredible calling.

St Francis Hospital- Cardiothoracic Surgery/CICU

I have been a PA for 3 years, working in urgent care, emergency medicine, and now cardiothoracic surgery and cardiac intensive care. I have always had a passion for medicine and have always enjoyed a challenge- which is why I gravitated towards the cardiac ICU. I love performing hands-on procedures and managing the sickest of the sick. I also grew up with a hospice nurse turned palliative care NP for a mom, so I have been immersed in palliative care from an early age.

Personal: I am 29 years old and live in the woods in CT

I am an animal lover and dream of having a small farm some day. I have a dog, 3 cats and a pot-belly pig.

I enjoy rowing, softball, kick-boxing and hiking.
